Part I:
On Friday, 23.11. It was finally that second Race Club meeting was at the door. We had, however, wg. The rail strike that lasted almost half a year tremble to Wednesday night whether the train is now on strike or not. Wednesday evening, was Kristina, Steffi and I then breathe easier. Until Monday, it should be no first strike. What luck!
My brother took us at 8:30 Clock to Wittlich train station. Immediately afterwards came Kristina. We first have to laugh at our luggage. I myself only had a small suitcase, with the greatest need there and a backpack. Steffi had a hell of a large travel bag and also a backpack. Kristina and the same. But since you have nothing more to do inside. Since everything was packed. Clock went to 9:34 our train, which arrived on time.
We had reserved seats and therefore in each schedule with a four-seat table in the middle.
We were just good and had our grub unpacked, as an older man came up to us and made a small survey with us. The train ride to Cologne went by pretty fast. Since we had not seen each other longer, we had to tell us a lot.
In Cologne, we had almost an hour stay. Just in time for lunch time we were there and we made a trip to Mc Doof. There was also some fun watching. ;-) Then we looked a little at a shop on the concourse around and then it was high time to go to the platform.
The trip was off to Hannover where we again had to change trains. Three hours of driving ahead of us stood. During the journey, we drank a bottle of champagne that Kristina had brought and also this train ride was nice and again there were some funny observations. I say only "service". ;-)
We found that the station in Hanover, is very beautiful. Everywhere on the platforms were elevators that we use. We also liked the great Christmas lights. In Hannover, we had no desire to look even more shops in the station because the wg. our luggage was pretty awkward anyway. We had not long to wait. The train to Soltau was already 10 minutes earlier. Unfortunately we had no reserved seats more. But this was not bad, so we found another four seats. After the conductor could not tell us that it was the right train, we asked a woman on the train, which we confirmed this but. We were able to train the last bit, then enjoy peace of mind. However, covered the 1 ½ hours in length, and really we were glad when we just before 6:30 the station Soltau finally reached.
There was already a taxi to the station. We asked for and the taxi driver said he would give us a colleague sent over, then came a short time later. He did not know how to pension Waldesruh came. Asked by radio to and after we were through Bispingen through, we had to follow a 2.5 mile dirt road that led more and more towards the forest area. The taxi driver was talking to us. Eventually the place was "Steinkenhöfen" (some isolated farms) and then also the sign came to pension Waldesruh. Kristina and Steffi then got a bit scared because the board was so able to have and Kristina said that she wanted to sleep the night but not alone.
finally arrived at the inn begrüßte uns die Hausherrin schon. Sie hatte uns wohl schon erwartet und weil sie abends noch weg wollten überreichte sie uns schon die Schlüssel für die Zimmer. Wir hatten dann auch gefragt, ob wir ein Drei-Bett-Zimmer haben konnten, was dann kein Problem war. Den Schlüssel für Henning gab sie uns auch mit. Denn der war noch nicht da. Der kam erst um 20:30 Uhr. Als wir dann vollständig waren, machten wir es uns bei uns im Zimmer gemütlich und erzählten uns noch bis ca. 1 Uhr Gruselgeschichten und jagten uns in Sachen „Fernsehman“ selbst noch etwas Angst ein. ;-) Bis wir irgendwann schließlich einschliefen.
24/11/2007 Club Meeting
We had the night before identified with the woman that we wanted to have breakfast at half 10th At 8 clock we got up. Kristina was the first in the shower and we had already determined that the heater had gone out overnight. Kristina then informed us thus also disturbing that the water that came out of the shower was freezing! But, as we had by all.
At half past 10, we made our on the way to the breakfast room. The hostess apologized nor for the failure of the heater and returned with a small stoves, where by then it soon became warmer again. We had breakfast yet not quite finished, as we saw Marina arrive already. This, we welcomed warmly and when the woman began to wonder if we could do with the times for the money.
She cleared in time, while we Marina, in Marina's and Ina's talked Room, from even the breakfast table and asked a short time later, again whether we pay for it once could. So we will do this more or less in passing. It was already past one hour and Marina still had her jacket. ;-) And a moment later came Ina. Which was also warmly welcomed.
Once we had decided to visit the "Iserhatsche," we started with two cars on the road to Bispingen. The meeting began at 16:00 so the first clock, so we had plenty of time.
The Iserhatsche hunting lodge was built in 1913-1914 in the Swedish style timber for the Royal Prussian Kommernzienrat Ernst Noelle. From 1929 to 1986 the entire area was owned by Reemstma now allow the new owners to visit.
We paid admission and were then also in the management, the well is automatically in the price of it, in part. It was very fascinating. Shortly after 14 clock we made our way to the EDEKA Bispingen in and bought a little food material for the cozy sitting together in the evening in the pension. Because we were all frozen solid, we went to a cafe where we warmed ourselves with a hot drink and a piece of cake. We were all really needed.
Then we went to the Kart Center. We had the same front, the first Reserved table in the restaurant and chose anticipate ever from the food that we wanted to take but only by 19 clock to us. Most opted for the tortellini. We talked about everything and cozy and there was also a little surprise. Ralf was not present because he was away with Cora, but had signed photos for all members and there was a mini-shirt with the inscription: "RS-Race Club 2 Meeting, 24.11.2007. All were enthusiastic. Marina, Ina and I had the whole course again threaded sent. ;-)
Kristina, Marina and Henning wanted to go karting. Single tickets were then actually still possible. At about 17:10 clock, the three then drove a 10-minute race. For Henning, it was the first time, but he was always 15th 20!
After Karting Marina yet completed her phone call with Wolfgang and told him that she would resign from the club. What Wolfgang still do not want that to accept completely.
At 19:00 clock there was dinner. This was very tasty, but by the cheese, the tortellini were very powerful and Steffi and I have done neither of everything. Our customers were then Henning.
The time flew by and it was already 21:00 clock and we were on to the bowling alley, located on the ground floor of the Karting Center. We had rented the car for two hours. Many of us were beginners, including me. I had put a fix in the first 20 litters, only two cones, all others have fallen into the groove. Too bad! In the second round I had not actually increased but then, for the very first throw fell by nine cones. It would indeed may be all ten. ;-) But the favor was not to me. ;-) The next litters again all were worse, But I met. The last three throws I met but did not find it. L
was passed by the two hours to bowl fast and Steffi, Kristina and I have set out to drive even a Friday or Saturday evening to register for bowling . We are fitter times.
Then we wanted to take a group photo. Below the middle of the kart track was an old formula 1 car that Ralf has driven times. Ingo allowed us to stroll on the kart track and as we were arriving at the car, we positioned ourselves around the car and made even more beautiful group photos.
Then we said goodbye to Ingo and it was time to go to the pension. Outside it was raining in torrents. Arriving at the inn, we set it at Marina and Ina in the room cozy. With 2 bottles of champagne, chocolates and salty snacks we let us go well.
Kristina, Steffi and I took our leave at 0:30 clock, the other three have continued a little longer met. ;-)
We had three but also fun and laughed a few times over the past day and the night before. Stefan and Kristina were pretty quick on sleep, I still looked clock at 3:15 on the clock. But must be some point fallen asleep, because when I woke up, it was already 6:15 clock. But from then on, I have not really slept.
25.11.2007 - departure
Our bags we already had that evening before, given up on the most necessary. After the shower there was clock at 9:30 and then again breakfast. This had been the woman in the refrigerator, because she had announced Friday evening that they would not be there. There was still a note on the table that were the things in the fridge and she had us still wanted a good trip.
After breakfast it was called then take leave again! Henning went even further in the purely pagan, because he wanted to visit his uncle.
Marina and Ina had said that there would be no problem for them both to bring us to the train station Soltauer because they both had to go in the direction of Soltau.
At the station we had to wait half an hour on the train. Luckily the train was already 10 minutes earlier. Again it was a local train and again we had to first ascertain whether it really was the right train to Hanover.
In Hannover, we had just under 20 minutes stay and we were right on the way to the platform, because of the baggage smuggling, we wanted to wander no longer hurt us. From Hanover to Cologne we drove in an ICE. I must say I never thought that the train is 200 km / h would be fast. This one has not even notice. In addition, it had rained during the trip several times, probably, the train had to therefore go a little slower.
We arrived in Cologne with about 6 minutes late and had so change only 3 minutes to. Stupid, we were also still on a different track, as was on the schedule! So we still had time to change the platform and we would be a Minutes later there was, we would have missed the train.
The last two hours of Wittlich dragged on endlessly. We were all exhausted and tired and were going to go home. We were glad when we Wittlich at 18:20 clock in at the station arrived. Kristina has been picked up by her boyfriend and Steffi from Steffi and me dad. At 19:00 clock, I then got us the front door was unlocked and yet glad to be home.
However, the club meeting was super nice and unforgettable. We will laugh for a long time about it! I am looking forward to more club meetings.
